Hsinchu County at positioned at equal distance from Taichung Port and Keelung Port and is known for its sufficient labor resources. With increasing industrial development within the region, land acquisition for Hsinchu Industrial Park was proposed by the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA and executed by Hsinchu County Government. Development of the industrial park aims to accommodate the demands of rapid industrial development, prevent unauthorized establishments, discourage improper use of agricultural land resulting in public disasters, and better utilize the investments put into public infrastructures.
