Real-time customer flow data analysis service for new business opportunities

Data Service Business Model by RedDoor Media

There are many featured business districts in Taiwan, and the number of people has affected the layout of companies in the business district. In view of this, the data service provider, RedDoor Media, which understands the momentum of business districts, uses the Project on the Promotion of Data Economy Ecosystem initiated by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2019 to develop the Eagle Eye Customer Data Platform, adopting Wifi AP (Wifi stations) to collect the MAC addresses of mobile phones in the flow of business, generating data such as the time spent in the business district and the routes used to and from the business district, analyzing the correlation between business crowds and store crowds. In addition, the Eagle Eye platform can analyze the data with visual and value-added processing and establish data application fields in the Bade Business District to assist in planning marketing activities such as sweepstakes, which have effectively accumulated NT$6.26 million in revenue, followed by subsequently expanding to other business districts such as Ximen, Dadaocheng, Qingguang and Dongmen, masterminding the information of 6.62 million customers, giving RedDoor Media NT$3.56 million in revenue.

Mars Chang, CEO of RedDoor Media, pointed out that mastering the flow of people and the characteristics of members in the business district is one of the key factors for the success of the business district events. Taking Japanese home appliance brand distributors in the Bade business district as an example, RedDoor Media uses its excellent IoT data collection and analysis technology to assist the industry to combine member information and business district activity and analyze the crowd flow signals and staying times to generate the best advertising exposure strategies and directly increase the number of store visitors. RedDoor Media successfully increased the number of visitors for the brand channel operator by 15%, creating a turnover of more than 10% compared to the same period last year. Based on this successful experience, RedDoor Media has gradually applied it to other business districts such as Ximen, Dadaocheng, Qingguang, Dongmen, actively seizing business opportunities in those business districts and marketing campaigns.
