Counseling and promoting project for innovative circular new materials

Taiwan’s chemical material industry, whose production value reaches 1/3 of the total GDP, has developed for a long time and plays a pivotal role in Taiwan’s industries. In response to the demands of industrial upgrade and transformation, this project will promote domestic chemical material manufacturers to develop low-pollution, high-performance, and high-value-added materials as well as products with the concept of high-value as well as circular economy and apply them for the key industries, e.g. electrical materials, communication, medical materials, building materials, food packages, sports goods, etc., focusing on the expansion of channels/consumption outlets with the 5R and 3R concept of circular economy. By the linkage of “research alliance of high-value cycling key materials and product applications” with marketing (consumption) demands (introduction of high-value cycling technologies such as processing optimization/green materials/green design/waste-product development technologies and so on) and the combination of marketing promotion (e.g. the organization for activities of product promotion and exchange, the study on niche-market expansion of global circular economy, etc.), the outlets can be opened up and then the investing environment can also be perfected. With the inter-ministerial

coordination and the assistance for introduction of international cooperation or exclusion of investing hindrance, the manufacturers can accelerate accomplishing the commercializing investment and expanding global new channel markets.
