2019 Digital Taipei was held at Yuanshan EXPO Dome from July 12th to 14th, 2019. Since 2009, the MOEA’s Industrial Development Bureau has held Digital Taipei to build an industry exchange platform, helping Taiwan companies obtain the latest industry information and expanding business opportunities in overseas markets for more than ten years.
Under the theme “Focus on Change,” 2019 Digital Taipei is extending its reach to the digital entertainment industry. The exhibition includes gaming, animation, digital learning, digital music and blockchain technology applications, driving diverse development in the industry. For international forums, Digital Taipei collaborated with the Global Blockchain Game Alliance (GBGA) to organize the Global Blockchain Game Forum and explore how to create new business opportunities in the industry by integrating companies’ core business with intellectual property (IP), gaming, animation, movies and other entertainment resources under the theme of “Business Opportunities from Cross-industry Collaboration of the Digital Entertainment Industry.”
Digital Taipei is the only professional B2B digital content exhibition in Taiwan. This year, the event continues to invite around 200 international buyers from nearly 20 countries, including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, United States, Germany and Denmark, to Taiwan to build diverse cross-industry collaboration opportunities through a one-on-one business consultation and matching service.
In addition to facilitating industry exchange and the matching of business opportunities, the event organized its first “Digital Entertainment Industry Talent Match” to recruit new talent for the digital content industry and increase the competitive edge of the industry.
