With the amazing development of ICT technology, many of our dreams have been realized one after another in terms of convenient and colorful daily lives as well as unlimited innovations and opportunities in the future. The Ministry of Economic Affairs has therefore integrated its assistance efforts and subsidy measures on R&D products and services by staging the 2017 ITMonth with VR digital manor pavilions focusing on the theme of “Digital Taiwan, Smart Home”, successively in the cities of Taichung (Dec. 15-20, 2017), Tainan (Dec. 28, 2017-Jan. 2, 2018) and Kaohsiung (Jan. 5-9, 2018).
“Digital Taiwan, Smart Home” primarily features the simulation of daily lives in terms of smart living to show how visitors are welcomed by cute AI robots, smart farms where fresh vegetables are cooked, remote glove control of equipment, AR/VR inter-active learning content, AR board games, innovative electronic building block toys, voice-controlled home AI robots, as well as smart Lohas community senior care, purporting to interest visitors both young and old with a feeling of a smart home living environment.
In addition, this event has invited 14 original IP brands to set up their exclusive stands, including Barkley the Cat, YAMEME, DNA×CAT, WinBrothers, and Hoping&Sasa, etc., with fascinating licensed merchandise ranging from stationeries and 3C peripherals to daily necessities. One or two mascots will interact closely with children every day.
